I started to work with woven tapestries in 1978 where I exhibited them in my own gallery, this time at Eidersted in Nordfriesland, Germany. In 1982 I moved to South-Norway. Here I continued my work with tapestries and had exhibitions both in Germany and Norway.
In 1995 I learned decorative painting in the United Kingdom, which resulted in a production of small furnitures and also frames for my tapestries. Gold leafs, sliver leaves and similar metals are a recurring element in my work. During all these years, I had regularly exhibitions in my own gallery in Norway as well as in professional galleries all around Norway. I have been member of the Norwegian society of performing art for decades.
I am especially inspried by the german expressionists and dedicated my tapestries their artistic work. I produced tapestries taking expressionist paintings as a model and condensed them into small tapestries, which you will find under the headings "Die Brücke" and "Der blaue Reiter".
